I just wanted to give insight to some of the best purchases that I made in the past year. None of this is advertising, I just really like the products and want to help you next time you go shopping.
1. Buddha Board
Pros: The Buddha board is easy to set up, relaxing, and uses water.
Cons: You could end up forgetting about it if you get busy and you cannot press too hard or it may cause damage.
This is a great companion for meditation and It's a good practice in letting go, it encourages me to purge possessions and not get attached to things. It is really relaxing to put on some meditation music, dim the lights and draw on the board.

2. Five-Minute Journal
Pros: Easy way to start journaling, increases gratitude, and helps with being self aware.
Cons: The daily posts can get repetitive and if you aren't mindful you may end up writing the same answers after time.
Using the science of positive psychology to improve happiness, The Five Minute Journal focuses your attention on the good in your life. Improve your mental well-being and feel better every day. Sometimes this can seem like a chore, but this has really helped me think outside of the box and realize how lucky I am.

3. Audible Subscription
Pros: Easier to finish books, entertaining, great customer service, cancel at anytime, and its easy to pair to your tablet or phone.
Cons: The library doesn't have everything, membership costs aren't always worth it, and canceling the service can be annoying.
If you are busy and do not have enough time to sit down and read a book, then audible is a really good option. Listening to a book on a plane or even to the gym has increased my productivity. Just make sure you use the service, as it can be easy to forget that you pay on a monthly basis.

4. Sense Sleep System
Pros: Minimalistic design, gives an accurate sleep score, and monitors light, sound, temperature, and humidity.
Cons: Smart alarm is hit and miss, expensive to replace if you lose the hello device, (the white clip) and pairing the devices can take a while
Sense by Hello is a simple system that tracks your sleep behavior, monitors the environment of your bedroom and reinvents the alarm. Sleep is very important to me and sense allows to see my patterns so I can see if where I can make improvements.

5. iPhone 7
Price: Depends on model
Pros: Very fast, upgraded camera, upgraded storage, and water resistant.
Cons: Missing headphone jack...
iPhone 7 dramatically improves the most important aspects of the iPhone experience. It introduces advanced new camera systems. This is the best performance and battery life ever in an iPhone. Immersive stereo speakers. The brightest, most colorful iPhone display. Splash and water resistance and it looks every bit as powerful as it is. This is iPhone 7. This phone is by far the fastest phone that I have ever owned and is very slick to the touch. If you already have an iPhone 6s, I wouldn't change unless you are on a program like AT&T Next or have an upgrade available. I was an advocate of removing the headphone jack at the beginning, but not being able to charge my phone and listen to music at the same time really hurts the user experience.
6. MOS Backpack
Pros: It is comfortable, has a pocket for everything, the ability to charge your devices, and it is well made.
Cons: The charger cable can be a gimmick and at times the cord gets hot.
The MOS PACK features a built-in charging station and internal cable management so you can charge everything without taking it all out of your backpack. Now you can plug in everything at once using one cable It has pockets designed specifically for laptop, tablet, power bank, smartphone, sunglasses, water bottle and a passport. I've had the backpack over about 9 months right now and has really made traveling easier. I haven't seen one that works this well before.

Pros: The Bluetooth, endless commands, ease of use,
Cons: Sometimes Alexa (Echo-dots name) doesn't respond, it has a poor quality speaker, it must be plugged in, and an overwhelming amount of commands.
Echo Dot is a hands-free, voice-controlled device with a small built-in speaker—it can also connect to your speakers or headphones over Bluetooth or through a 3.5 mm audio cable to deliver stereo sound to the speakers you choose. Dot connects to the Alexa Voice Service to play music, provide information, news, sports scores, weather, and more—instantly. There are so many things that Alexa can do, which is great, but some people may get overwhelmed by the amount of capabilities. You can use the Bluetooth to sync it up with a great speaker to eliminate the need to use the poor speaker, but the dot does make up for its' cons.
8. SmartWool Heathered Rib Socks
Pros: The comfort and how dry they make your feet.
Cons: These are expensive and not all Smartwool socks are created equal.
Made with 61% Merino Wool, 37% Nylon, and 2% Elastane these socks live up to be the most comfortable socks that I own. However, I have bought other Smartwool socks and they have not been as good as these. I will be sticking with these from now on.
9. Bulletproof Coffee
Price: Depends on Recipe
Pros: It keeps you feeling energized and full for hours and tastes great.
Cons: Can be expensive and not as easy to make compared to traditional coffee.
This coffee allows you to enter the state of high performance where your body, mind, and nervous system work together effortlessly to help you perform at levels beyond what you’d expect. I found this on The Bulletproof Diet and ever since has really impacted my life.

10. ASICS Men's Gel Nimbus 18 (Extra Wide)
Pros: The Asics are extremely comfortable, the option to for extra wide, and the look.
Cons: The cost ranges from $115 — $150 and the shoes can be hard to find.
After 18 years of innovation, the Nimbus series continues as one of the most recognized high-performing footwear by ASICS. The new gel placement offers modernized geometry of cushioning, designed to improve adaptability and mitigate brisk impacts. Improved guidance line technology harmoniously syncs componentry to embrace the motions of the runner’s gait cycle. I can honestly say I have never had a shoe that has fit me better than these have. I have had them for over a month was no problems so far.
11. Powerade Workout Shaker
Con: I can not find this workout bottle anywhere and it is so rare I had to take a personal picture of it. The shaker is new, so maybe it will take time.
Pro: Everything locks into place perfectly, with no spill. It looks and feels great.
I put my pre workout in first and my protein is in the little blue container. A lot of other protein shakers aren't very durable, but this one is very strong and sturdy. It is also very easy to clean. This is the best workout bottle I've ever had.
